We shine the spotlight on members of Team ai to learn more about their roles, what it’s like being part of the team, and what training and development opportunities ai offers.
This month, we sat down to chat with Yousouf Alouat, Marketing Manager, to find out why he enjoys working at ai.
What made you choose to be a Marketing Manager at ai?
The fintech industry is renowned for being fast-paced, innovative and constantly evolving to meet consumers’ demand. What attracted me to work for ai is the reputation of the business it has developed over the years to be a leader in the fraud and payments space.
Another reason why I chose to work at ai was the scope of my role and the opportunity to work with some talented people. At ai, we are constantly being challenged to improve and enhance our customers’ solutions. I have the chance to shape my role that is associated with my career trajectory and meet the needs of the business.
What does a typical day look like for you?
Every day I go through my to-do list and prioritize what needs to be done. The great thing about my role is that it’s incredibly varied – I could be working on a press release, designing a new banner on our website, or getting involved in a podcast recording session. The great thing about working for ai is that you have the autonomy to decide what work you should focus on.
What is your team like?
My team is great! Every team member is an expert in their field, which is so helpful when I have to pull something together that
requires technical input. Everyone is always willing to go the extra mile to help out – no matter how big or small the request is.
How do you ensure you keep your training and knowledge up to date?
In my quarterly review meeting, my manager and I will take the time to review my training and development needs. As the meeting takes place every quarter, I have ample opportunities to increase my knowledge in marketing and pick up new skills relevant to my job.
What’s the best part about your job?
Learning something new every day and constantly being challenged to take on more responsibility.
What’s your proudest moment at ai so far?
I wouldn’t necessarily say it’s a moment, but I’m incredibly proud that we have built the marketing infrastructure from the ground up. It has been a collective team effort that will ultimately help the business increase its brand presence and generate new commercial opportunities for the future.
How would you describe ai in 3 words?
Innovative, friendly, smart.
What do you enjoy most about working for ai?
Working with some brilliant people across ai has enabled me to become a better all-around professional.
