ai is looking for a Software QA Analyst to join our team

We are looking for a Software QA Analyst to join our team. To ensure that the ai Corporation’s solutions meet the customer requirements and are fit for purpose. Perform technical testing to support a team of developers using automation tools where appropriate. Work closely with developers and project management in a department with industry standard processes and approaches.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Follow QA processes and procedures to ensure quality in ai solutions
  • Produce test plans and scripts based on in depth analysis and discussion of business requirements
  • Support the ai development team with technical testing and troubleshooting
  • Provide QA estimations for development projects and enhancements
  • Research and exploit tools to automate and optimise day to day tasks
  • Provide QA signoff for releases to ai deployment and support departments
  • Co-ordinate with development, business and support to deliver assigned testing requirements
  • Review defect feedback to ensure future testing improvements and minimise repeat issues
  • Occasional potential travel to customer sites, this might involve overseas travel
  • Any other duties as and when required

Technical Skills

Primary (required)

  • Effective communicator with technical and non-technical business teams
  • Technical testing experience of software solutions based on Windows & Linux Server platforms
  • Assist with support of the test infrastructure
  • Practical experience of test stage design, planning and execution
  • Experienced backend tester of data processing applications
  • Problem solving and analytical attitude to issues
  • Good TSQL scripting skills and knowledge of database technologies
  • Up to date knowledge of industry testing methods and techniques
  • Working knowledge of Release Management methodologies
  • Practical experience of the use of tools for test management and test automation

Secondary

  • Knowledge of the payments/fraud industry
  • Application security and vulnerability awareness
  • Experience with software development .net, Java, Ruby
