Meet Monika Sanadhya - Product Manager for aiRiskNet®

Please tell us a bit about yourself and why you chose this area of work.
I have 14+ years of experience in the product and fraud management space, working with Visa, Worldpay and FIS at the intersection of innovation, customer experience, and risk control. In my experience, customers require solutions that continually evolve to meet their needs. I specifically chose this area of work as it allows me to think outside of the box and help build products and solutions that not only drive growth but also protect users and businesses from evolving threats.
What does a typical day look like for you?
No two days are the same for a product manager, but a typical day involves striking a fine balance between strategy, collaboration, problem-solving and execution. I begin by reviewing key product metrics: product performance, fraud trends, education and firefighting techniques. I next focus on customer alignment to ensure I have a pulse on what is working and where we need adjustments or improvements. The rest of the day is spent collaborating with cross-functional teams, operations, compliance, fraud strategy, and managed services to align on priorities, resolve blockers, and ensure that we are progressing towards roadmap goals. My everyday focus remains on delivering value to our customers through innovative and scalable solutions that are up-to-date and aligned with market changes.
What is your team like?
My team is a well-oiled machine. We have two product owners, a sprint team, and a great mix of brilliant minds, banter, and positive energy. We are efficient, we get things done, and have fun doing it.
How do you ensure your training and knowledge are up to date?
I make a conscious effort to stay updated through a mix of structured learning and first-hand exploration. I regularly take part in product management and fraud strategy webinars, industry conferences, and online courses to stay current with technological and regulatory developments.
What is the best part about your job?
The best part about my job is that it is never boring - we tackle challenges, solve problems, identify patterns, and refine our product to deliver continuous improvement and value to our customers. I love collaborating with different teams and seeing how all the pieces come together to create something that does amazing work in the real world.
