Meet the ai Team: Natasha Rubin
We shine the spotlight on members of Team ai to learn more about their roles, what it’s like being part of the team, and what training and development opportunities ai offers. This month, we sat down to chat with Natasha Rubin, HR Manager.
What made you choose to work at ai?
I joined ai four years ago in a temporary position to get experience in HR, as I was looking to change careers. I was offered a permanent role as HR Administrator at the end of my contract and was eventually promoted to HR Manager. I am very thankful for the opportunities ai has given me to advance in my career and for the support I’ve received along the way.
What does a typical day look like for you?
My role is varied, with work going across every element of the employee lifecycle, as well as responsibilities within our
Health & Safety team, Business Continuity Team, and Chairing the Staff Council. Each day will typically involve recruitment, working on ai’s HR
strategy initiatives, and helping employees with any questions or issues they may have.
The great thing about my role and working at ai, is the opportunity to work alongside a wide range of people. No two days are the same, making working at ai incredibly varied and exciting.
What is your team like?
I am part of Corporate Services, which is a relatively small team full of great people! Everyone at ai is very friendly and hardworking, which is one of the reasons I enjoy working here!
How do you ensure you keep your training and knowledge up to date?
I am currently studying my final level of CIPD, which has been supported by ai. I also read daily HR newsletters and employment law
updates.
What’s the best part about your job?
Learning something new every day and constantly being challenged to take on more responsibility.
What’s your proudest moment at ai so far?
Being promoted to HR Manager – the company believed in me and it helped me feel more prepared for a step up.
How would you describe ai in 3 words?
Friendly, empowering, inclusive.
What do you enjoy most about working for ai?
The people!
