Internet Payment Service Provider
SmartAuth is an extremely powerful, real-time pre-authorisation screening system developed to help Internet payment service providers (PSPs) combat the growing menace of Card Not Present (CNP) fraud.
Utilising expertise and techniques developed by aiCorp to help some of the world's leading banks and payment processors screen billions of transactions through millions of merchants each year, SmartAuth can be as powerful and complex as your business demands - decisioning can be fully automated, completely manual or a combination of both.
Designed so it can be hosted in a PCI-compliant environment, SmartAuth has a comprehensive set of functions that enables users to conduct:
- Manual transaction entry
- Fraud screening
- IP checking
Where more complex screening and control is required, PSPs can define additional screening filters, create and tune multiple rules on a product, group of products, merchant or groups of merchant basis. This enables PSPs to either monitor themselves or to set the system up so that individual merchants can monitor themselves.
The following features are likely to be of particular interest to PSPs:
- Ability to look at multiple aspects of a transaction and compare to historic data
- Capacity to allocate a certain number of credits, where each credit corresponds to an authorization that will be scored at pre-authorisation stage
- Flexibility to have up to three scores - from SmartAuth, the PSP and the merchant
- A geo-location filter is able to check three addresses - where the card was issued, where the order was placed and what delivery was given
- Interfaces can be customized on a merchant basis to make use of any specific data they may have - particularly useful for airlines in helping tackle e-ticket fraud
- Solution can be white-labeled and delivered to merchants in their own language, if required
- Multi-currency
